In 2011, the nonprofit Foundation for Development and Support of the Valdai Discussion Club was established to further expand its activities, including research and outreach work, and to develop regional and thematic programs. Today, the Valdai Club conducts a qualified and unbiased analysis of global socio-political and socio-economic trends. It holds annual meetings, regional conferences, events in Moscow and special sessions at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Eastern Economic Forum and the Russian Business Week organized by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP).
